2. Stand booking

HERE  you get to the Online Service Center of AMERICANA 2025! We look forward to your registration!

  • Early Horse! As an early bird, you can benefit from lower participation prices if you register by 31.01.2025
  • Registration requested by 31.01.2025
  • Registrations from 01.07.2025 are still possible, but you / your company will only be named in the online exhibitors list and will no longer be shown in the visitor catalogue
  • End of August 2024: Start of registration phase for main exhibitors and co-exhibitors, from here 3 months Early Horse!
  • From November 2024: Access to ticket shop for trade fair and evening shows
  • General registration requested by 31.01.2025
  • Spring: start of placement

1. Non-binding registration
The registration takes place via registration shop of Messe Friedrichshafen and represents a non-binding request for a booth, and only becomes an admission after your confirmation of our placement proposal.

2. Hall planning
The planning of the halls will begin in spring 2025, when most of the registrations have been received. You will then receive a placement proposal by email, with a stand plan and a hall plan in which the placement proposal is marked. We will try to consider all placement requests. Please note that this will not always be possible.

3. Stand confirmation
Your registration for AMERICANA becomes binding when you confirm your stand proposal writing by e-mail within the specified response time.

4. Admission and invoicing
The admission of the halls will start at the beginning of April 2025. You will receive the admission documents from us with all important informations on the further course of your participation in the fair as well as the admission invoice (stand rental, AUMA fee, waste disposal fee, energy flat rate and media entries). Once the admission has been granted, the stand can no longer be cancelled free of charge.

5. Booking of additional services
All services and additional services can be ordered via the OSC of Messe Friedrichshafen. You will receive the access code for service orders and media entries by email, together with the admission documents.

The participation fee includes the stand space only, without stand construction or other services (water, electricity, etc.). Depending on the size of the stand, you'll receive a number of codes for exhibitor passes.

Additional fixed costs:

In addition to the participation fee, the purchase of the following services is mandatory:

  • Waste disposal: 1,30 €/sqm (max up to 70 sqm)
  • AUMA fee 0,60 €/sqm *
  • Media flat rate
  • Energy flat rate (electricity flat rate) without electricity connection

Additional costs as required (bookable via the OSC)

  • Technical installations (power connection, water connection)
  • Stand construction (walls, carpet, complete stands), cleaning service 
  • Guest tickets, additional exhibitor passes
  • Parking permits (car, truck, caravan)

 

* What is the AUMA fee? The Association of the German Trade Fair Industry (AUMA) charges you a fee of EUR 0,60 per square metre of exhibition space to represent your interests. The AUMA fee is paid 1:1 by Messe Friedrichshafen to AUMA.

Please note that the respective participation prices are tied to the assigned hall and are not available in other halls .

Register
 

  • Terrace stand: one open side, three closed wall sides 
  • Corner stand: two open sides, two closed wall sides
  • End of block stand: three open sides, one closed wall side
  • Block stand: all sides open, no walls
  • Yes, the stand must be at least 3 metres deep and 3 metres wide. 9 sqm is the minimum size of a stand.
  • The stand can only be built and rented with whole metres, half metres are not possible.

We expressly point out that neither stand construction nor partition walls will be provided by the trade fair. Every stand without exception must have walls in accordance with the shape of the stand.


Why do I need partition walls?

  • So that the partially printed and/or differently structured rear walls of your neighbours are not visible (example with a row stand - three different rear walls could be visible on all three sides).
  • So that your stand presents a consistent image 
  • So that you have hanging options at your stand
  • So that visitors can recognise a separation between the stands and stand areas do not mix

     

When do I not need partition walls?

  • If you have your own stand construction with walls (at least 2.5 metres high)
  • You have booked a complete stand in a certain price category, e.g.
    • Equestrian tourism
    • Start-Up
    • Lifestyle
    • Ranch Boulevard
  • You can plan a storage area (locked room) at your stand 
  • You can book a storage area on the exhibition grounds in the OSC via DB Schenker
  • You store your goods in your van on the exhibition grounds (don't forget to book a parking ticket)

Depending on the booking situation and after consulting the project team, several stands can be booked. Please note, however, that each stand is charged separately and no discounts are possible.

When registering, you can enter your wishes for the hall and placement in the free text field. We will try to consider it in our placement proposals, but this is not always possible. Thank you for your understanding.

  • An electricity connection is not included in the participation fee. Please note that only the energy flat rate (electricity consumption) for the general use of electricity on the exhibition grounds is charged in the initial invoice. This electricity consumption is to be paid by each exhibitor.
  • Please book your electricity connection and, if needed, the water connection promptly in the OSC. If you require the connections at certain points on your stand, please draw them on your stand and upload the drawing as a PDF in the OSC under UPLOAD.
  • A power connection is included if you have booked a complete stand in a certain price category, e.g.
    • equestrian tourism
    • start-up area
    • lifestyle

House rules

The hall floor is a rough asphalt surface and may show colour defects. The use of a floor covering is recommended for all exhibition stands. A selection and colours of the floor covering can be booked in the OSC.

Once you have entered all the details for your stand booking in the OSC and submitted the order, you will receive an email to confirm your order:

3. Co-exhibitors

When does it make sense to participate as a co-exhibitor?

Co-exhibitors are those who appear at the stand of a main exhibitor with their own personnel and products. This also includes group companies and subsidiaries of the main exhibitor. The admission of co-exhibitors is subject to approval and fees. The costs may be borne by the main exhibitor or the co-exhibitor himself.

  • If the co-exhibitor's company is still growing
  • If the co-exhibitor's company's product matches the main exhibitor perfectly
  • If the co-exhibitor's company does not need its own stand construction

Who can become a co-exhibitor?

  • All companies and artists who do not have their own stand at AMERICANA

What advantages does a co-exhibitor have?
 

  • A co-exhibitor benefits from the fact that the main exhibitor already has a complete stand construction. The costs per co-exhibitor are therefore very low.

A co-exhibitor can only be registered via a main exhibitor, directly when the main exhibitor registers or at a later date after admission in the OSC (Online Service Center). The main exhibitor must provide the co-exhibitor's full company address and contact details. Registration is binding. 

Option 1:

Before you register as the main exhibitor, you already know that a co-exhibitor will be at your stand:

  • Then register him directly when you register yourself

Option 2:

You have already registered as a main exhibitor and would like to add a co-exhibitor:

  • In this case, log in to your registration-shop OSC and book your co-exhibitor under "Co-exhibitor"

With the admission of the main exhibitor and the co-exhibitor, only the main exhibitor is the contractual partner with Messe Friedrichshafen GmbH. The co-exhibitor receives its own OSC access and can place service orders in the OSC (Online Service Center) independently and at its own expense.

What are the costs for a co-exhibitor?
 

  • Co-exhibitor fee 575,00 €
  • Media flat rate 270,00 €

What cost benefits does a co-exhibitor have?
 

  • A co-exhibitor benefits from the fact that the main exhibitor already takes care of the complete stand construction

Who bears the costs for the co-exhibitor?
 

  • You can decide whether the main exhibitor bears the additional costs or the co-exhibitor bears the costs themselves

Yes, you can have several co-exhibitors at your stand. The conditions per co-exhibitor remain the same.

4. OSC (Online Service Center)


Your "Order Shop"

In the OSC - Online Service Center - you can book your media entries and technical orders for AMERICANA quickly and conveniently online.

 

  • The Online Service Center is the shop with which you can organise your stand, from carpet to electricity to the stand party.
  • The data is retained in the OSC and you can start, complete or add to your orders at any time.
  • Please only remember the order deadline, as repeat orders and orders placed on site can lead to considerable delays in set-up and additional costs due to late delivery surcharges.

     

As we need some time to prepare the visitors catalogue, we ask you to place your orders or make changes to the media entries = visitors catalogue and Internet entries online by July 15, 2025 at the latest.

You will receive your personalised access data with the admission email as soon as you have chosen a placement proposal and confirmed it via email.


The person who has already registered will receive the access data.

  • Open your OSC
  • Log in with your access data
  • Open the "Service bookings" tab
  • In the upper horizontal menu bar under UPDLOAD / DOWNLOAD you will find your stand documents such as the stand sketch and the hall plan.
  • You will see the passes and parking tickets you have ordered as soon as your stand invoice has been paid. The passes and parking tickets will only be uploaded to the OSC once the payment has been received.

You can request a new password - simply follow the link "Forgot your password?" on the login page. You will then receive a new password by email.

The following services are ordered directly from the OSC to external service providers:

  • Technical installations (electricity, water)
  • Furnishings, complete stands
  • haulage
  • Stand security, stand cleaning
     

All further processing is handled and invoiced directly by the respective service provider. The invoice for the booked stand service is also paid directly to the responsible service provider.

The OSC closes on the night of the first set-up day - after that, orders can only be placed at the project management office on site.

Please note that late fees will be charged approx. 4 weeks before the start of the fair.

An unexpected error occurred. A pink window with red text will appear on the OSC start page, when you try to log in.

This message appears in most cases if an OSC version is allready open in the backround, as the last login may closed with = X , and the programm was not closed correctly via logout. 

Please try the following:

  • Delete email history
  • clear cache in the browser settings
  • always close your OSC account via logout and do not leave it open when you leave the PC. Then the account does not close properly and the error messabe mentioned is displayed again the next time you log in

5. Passes for your team, your customers, your friends


The number of included codes for exhibitor passes is based on the following scale:
 

  • Up to 10 m² = 2 exhibitor passes
  • 11-20 m² = 3 exhibitor passes
  • 21-30 m² = 4 exhibitor passes
  • 31-40 m² = 5 exhibitor passes
  • 41-50 m² = 6 exhibitor passes
  • 51-60 m² = 7 exhibitor passes
  • 61-70 m² = 8 exhibitor passes
  • 71-80 m² = 9 exhibitor passes
  • From 81 m² = 10 exhibitor passes



Your exhibitor codes will be available for you as soon as you have paid your completely stand rental invoice. If the invoice has not been paid in full before the start of the fair, you will only receive the exhibitor codes in the project team's office from the first set-up day after the invoice has been paid.

Information on co-exhibitor passes:

Co-exhibitors receive 2 free codes for exhibitor passes, regardless of the stand size of the main exhibitor.

 

Additional exhibitor passes are available for €30.00 each (including VAT) at the OSC.

Please see the invoice for the number of exhibitor passes (according to stand size). These can be downloaded from the OSC. If your invoice has not been paid in full 14 days before the start of AMERICANA, the exhibitor passes must be downloaded from the OSC on site, after the invoice has been settled in full in the project management office in the WEST foyer. Please note the resulting waiting times.

Yes, there are voucher codes:

  • You can get voucher codes (unlimited) in the Online Service Center (OSC)
  • The code must be redeemed in the official online ticket shop by the visitor.
  • You will only be charged for tickets scanned at entry.

Your guest card codes will be made available for you to download in PDF format in the Online Service Centre (OSC).

 

6. Arrival I parking


  • The stand booking does not include a parking space
  • Please book your parking tickets for cars, vans, trailers and trucks in time (ideally directly after registration) in the OSC. Parking spaces on the exhibition grounds are limited

Exception:

If you have booked a complete stand of a certain category:

  • equestrian tourism
  • lifestyle
     

Cars

  • You can purchase car parking ticket in the OSC on P-East or P-West or on the exhibition grounds

Vans / Trucks

  • For vans and trucks a length specification is required when ordering at the OSC
  • Trucks / vans that are not used for storage or are empty during the trade fair can park free of charge in a cordoned area arround hall B5 - special permit required - please contact the project team for this.

TIP: Remember to book your parking tickets early in the OSC. Parking spaces on the exhibition grounds are limited.

  • Parking spaces for cars on the exhibition grounds are limited, each exhibitor can book a maximum of 2 car parking spaces on the exhibition grounds. Please order your parking permits immediately after admission, as long as enough places are available.
  • If you order more than 2 car parking tickets, additional car parking tickets will automatically be booked on the P-West/P-East.

TIP: Remember to book your parking tickets early in the OSC. Parking spaces on the exhibition grounds are limited.

  • Open your OSC
  • Log in with your access data
  • Open the "Service bookings" tab
  • You will find your parking tickets in the top horizontal menu bar under UPDLOAD/DOWNLOAD

Please place the printed parking ticket in your vehicle when you enter the fair grounds. A digital parking ticket (PDF on your mobile phone) is not valid, since the parking ticket must be visible in your vehicle for the entire duration of the trade fair.

Please note your stand number.

  • Exhibitors with the letter A in the stand number for halls A2, A3, A4, A5 and the West outdoor area should enter the exhibition grounds via gate A. 
  • Exhibitors with the letter B in the stand number for halls B1, B2, B3, B4 (indoor camping), please enter the exhibition grounds via gate B

Signs on site make it easier for you to find your way around. You do not need a parking or entry permit during construction. 

Important information for exhibitors in halls A3, A4 and A5 and Foyer West Entry into the hall is only possible via the side gates due to the riding rings. Please note this information when planning your arrival and setting up your stand.

 

Deposit regulations 

Friday-Monday: 

€ 200,00 truck, € 150,00 car/trailer - as a courtesy, this applies for the entire duration of the set-up time (7:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.).

Tuesday: 

€ 200,00 truck, € 150,00 car/trailer until a maximum of 6:00 p.m. The vehicles must then leave the premises without a parking permit.

 

Special regulations 

for the last construction day, Tuesday, September 2nd, 2025

  • From 6:00 p.m. entry into the halls is no longer possible as cleaning of the halls begins. All vehicles must be removed from the halls by 6:00 p.m.
  • On the last day of construction, longer waiting times and traffic delays around the entire exhibition center are to be expected.

7. Media entries

  • Open the OSC
  • Log in with your access data
  • Select "Media entries"
  • Add or complete your data
  • To finalise your entries, you must select "Order media entries", only then will the entries be transmitted
  • You can see from the smiley (sad, neutral, laughing) in the right-hand menu bar whether your entries are complete

The trade fair catalog is an important marketing tool and reference work for many visitors. The online catalog on our homepage is used intensively to prepare for the visit. Correct and complete data for all exhibitors is therefore particularly important.

We offer you the opportunity to check and adjust your catalog and Internet entry online and, if necessary, to book additional services for the basic entry.

Please check / correct your basic entry no later than 4 weeks before the start of the fair, after which no further changes are possible.

You can select 3 product groups in the index of  products that correspond to your product range. Further entries are subject to a charge.

In the showroom you can describe and advertise a specific product or your service.

You can enter media entries up to 5 weeks before the start of the fair at the latest.

Your company logo will be displayed online and in the visitor catalogue next to your exhibitor entry.

You are welcome to book a page for your advertising in our visitor catalogue. Print run 10,000 copies. The catalogue is printed in A6 format.

Please contact us directly at Daniela.Reitmeier@messe-fn.de. You will then immediately receive the type area so that you can create your advert in the correct format, as well as the costs for the advert.

ATTENTION - dubious service provider for catalogue entries

International Fairs Directory from Mexico City, Mexico is sending out letters that look as if you are booking a free entry on www.inter-fairs.com. The freeloader presents itself as independent, but uses the heading ‘Your entry: AMERICANA Friedrichshafen’ for the company data correction and charges € 1,212.00 per year with an order for 3 years. International Fairs Directory has retrieved your company data from public trade fair databases. We would like to warn you: Messe Friedrichshafen has no connection whatsoever with the company. We ask you neither to sign these forms nor to make any payment! Please destroy these letters immediately!

8. Advertising opportunities

yes, you can find the email footer, which you can attach to your email signature, in the OSC under free services

Yes, you can draw attention to your stand, your brand or your goods with a mascot or as a walking act during the trade fair.

Yes, you may distribute flyers, posters and other advertising material on / within your stand area. It is strictly forbidden to distribute flyers, hang up posters or distribute other advertising material outside the booked stand area without the permission of the project management. You have the option of booking advertising space. See under point 2.

In the event of non-compliance, you will be charged a flat-rate advertising fee and the disposal of the advertising material.

10. Invoice I costs

Invoice and terms of payment:

After admission you will receive the invoice for the booked exhibition stand to the email address you provided during registration.

Email subject: Order XXX, your document AMERICANA 2025

Please check your spam folder regularly, as emails may arrive there even if the sender Messe Friedrichshafen GmbH is not known or was not known in advance.

All invoices are payable immediately and in full upon receipt.

The terms of payment on the invoices of Messe Friedrichshafen GmbH are decisive, please note the information on the bank details. Any outstanding invoices must be paid by the stand personnel during stand construction or during the trade fair, otherwise you will not be able to make full use of our services.

Thank you for your co-operation.

Please note that all invoices must be paid before the start of the trade fair! You will only find your exhibitor passes, and other documents in the download area of the OSC once the stand invoice has been paid.


Please check regularly and also before you arrive whether all invoices have been paid. Please check your spam folder regularly, as emails may arrive there even if the sender Messe Friedrichshafen GmbH is not known or was not known in advance.

 

  • Orders for services such as technical installations (electricity, water), stand construction, complete stands, DB Schenker, etc. are sent directly from the OSC to the respective external service providers, who take care of all further processing.
  • You receive the invoices from the respective service providers and pay them directly for the services booked.

Yes, there is! We simplify the payment process and adapt our payment methods to your needs. In addition to the usual bank transfer to one of our accounts, you can pay your bills using an online payment option. 

Please contact the project team by email and we will then send you a payment link.

Yes, you can enter an additional shipping address for receipts directly when registering in the OSC, at point 4. 
If you have already registered, simply send the project team an email.

In addition to the participation fee, the following services must be purchased:

* What is the AUMA contribution? The German Exhibition and Trade Fair Committee (AUMA) charges you a fee of €0.60 per square meter of exhibition space for representing your interests. The AUMA contribution is paid 1:1 by the MFN to the AUMA.


11. Accommodation

The faire has a caravan site with a 3 kW power connection, WC and shower facilities. You can order your parking ticket for P-East 2 (P-Ost 2) at the OSC.

During AMERICANA, we also offer indoor camping either with your own tent or with a rental tent in Hall B4. Tickets herefore can be booked in the ticket shop from spring 2025.

The Lake Constance is a popular holiday destination at any time of year. Please book your accommodation in time.

12. Participation at the daily programme

Are you planning a performance in a riding ring (with horse) or on one of the stages (without horse)? You can apply here:

Requirements:

  • Send us a video of your professional performance with topic and title by 01.04.2025 to americana@messe-fn.de 
  • This requirement applies to all interested participants, including participants who have already taken part in AMERICANA 2023
  • Please make sure that the topic and title match the respective ring in which you are planning your presentation
  • The demonstration time should serve to transfer knowledge on the respective topic
  • The demonstration time is not advertising time for your sales product

A time in the ring or on the stage is not possible without an exhibition stand. Register as an exhibitor or co-exhibitor with an already registered exhibitor.

  • the demonstrations are free of charge
  • For demonstrations with a horse, there is a charge for a box and a manure fee (per horse)
  • The costs for this will be charged to you via your stand
  • A pure demonstration spot is 20 minutes, plus 5 minutes are scheduled as changeover time between the demonstrations
  • Longer times are not possible, as we want to offer all participants the same fair opportunities. Thank you for your understandings

Due to the large number of applications and the limited time slots, we are unfortunately unable to accept all applications. Thank you for your understanding


13. Arrival with horse

If your application video, topic and title fulfill the requirements and we can offer free time slots, we will send you the registration for your horse.

You will receive the application form for your horse by e-mail as soon as your request has been received at americana@messe-fn.de.

You can register as many horses as you need for the demonstration. The conditions and costs per horse remain the same.

A stall in the hall or in the stable tent - depending on availability - is charged per horse and for the entire duration of the show. Early departure is only possible in consultation with the AMERICANA Show Team. Prices will be announced in spring 2025

Each box has a size of 3 x 3 meters.

The first bedding including shavings is included on arrival. Additional shavings can be purchased on site as well as hay.

Feeding: You would have to take care of feeding on site yourself. Please remember to bring enough food for all days

If you need to soaking the hay for your horse, please think of appropriate dunk container or bucket or evaporator; there are no dunk container or evaporators available on site.

Mucking out: You are also responsible for the daily mucking out and cleaning of the stable corridor.

Thank you for following our stable rules. Violations will be reported and a fine will be imposed.

A responsible veterinarian is available around the clock. If required, please contact the AMERICANA Show Office.

A responsible farrier is available every day. If required, please contact the AMERICANA Show Office.

The veterinary office is on site on all days and checks compliance with the conditions. Any anomalies and irregularities will be reported directly to the project management and the AMERICANA Show Office.


14. Set-up - dismantling

The official set-up of AMERICANA 2025 begins on Friday, August 29, 2025.

Arrival

  • Please enter the main entrance for exhibitors via Gate A and Gate B. The road signs on site will help you find your way.
  • Please have your printed parking ticket ready (order in advance at the OSC)
  • Without a parking ticket, a deposit is due upon entry

 

Set-up

  • Friday, 29.08.2025 - Tuesday, 02.09.2025 from 07:00 am to 06:00 pm
  • Wednesday, 03.09.2025 from 07:00 a.m. throughout the day

 

Deposit regulation

  • During the set-up period, a deposit is payable when entering the site (without a parking ticket):
    • 120.00 € (per car / trailer)
    • 170.00 € (per truck / sprinter)

Please note the set-up times so that the deposit can be refunded if you leave the site on time.

You have the option of registering an "early set-up" in the OSC. Costs are incurred for this service

No, early dismantling is not possible. Our visitors pay for a full day of the trade fair with a full program and full stands.

Dismantling is possible from 5:30 p.m. on Sunday evening as soon as all horses have left the halls, animal safety first!

During the set-up period, a deposit is payable when entering the fair ground (without a parking ticket):

It is no longer possible to enter the halls after 6:00 p.m., as the cleaning of the halls begins. All vehicles must be removed from the halls by 6:00 p.m. and all vehicles without a parking permit must leave the grounds.

IMPORTANT: Please note the set-up times so that the deposit can be refunded if you leave on time.

TIP: Remember to book your parking tickets early in the OSC, parking spaces on the exhibition grounds are limited.
 


15. During the fair

There are plenty - you will receive them personally from our hall managers on the first day of the fair, together with the exhibitor survey. We are already looking forward to your answers.

Our security team patrols the halls and grounds at night, but cannot be everywhere. Please remember to cover your stand, otherwise you can order a personal stand guard. Please remember to book stand security for your stand in advance at OSC if you think you will need it.

16. Evening show tickets and participation

Order

Discounted evening show tickets are available for exhibitors on all four evenings. You will receive an e-mail from the project team in good time with information on booking as soon as the seating plan and categories have been drawn up.


Invoice

The booking of discounted exhibitor tickets is only possible in connection with a stand at AMERICANA. The invoice for the evening show tickets will be settled via your stand. The invoice will be sent to you by email and must be paid in advance in order to receive the gala tickets at the project management office.

17. Fair cancellation

WITHDRAWAL FROM THE STAND / STAND CANCELLATION FEES

If the exhibitor does not participate after admission has been granted, the exhibitor is obliged to pay a stand cancellation fee. Withdrawal from the application is possible free of charge until admission. After admission, withdrawal is subject to the following costs: 25% of the participation fee if the stand space can be rented out. 100 % of the participation fee if the stand cannot be re-rented.

LEGAL INFORMATION

Violation of the exhibition conditions: In the event of serious breaches of the exhibition conditions, Messe Friedrichshafen may close a stand immediately and clear it itself without the need to seek legal assistance. This applies in particular to advertising that is contrary to legal regulations, morality or the purpose of the exhibition, as well as advertising for ideological or political purposes.

RESERVATIONS, FORCE MAJEURE, CANCELLATION AND OTHER CHANGES TO THE EVENT

Reasons for changes to the trade fair, duty to inform and compensation for damages

Unforeseen events, in particular cases of force majeure (e.g. natural disasters, war, terror, failure or massive disruption of transport and/or communication links as well as special epidemic risks in the event of the occurrence of infectious diseases), which make it impossible or irresponsible to hold the event as planned, entitle MFN to make the following changes to the event:

- to postpone, shorten and extend an event;
- cancel the opening of an event altogether; and
- to close an event that has already begun temporarily, permanently, in individual parts or as a whole.

The impossibility of a sufficient supply of auxiliary materials such as electricity, heating, etc., strikes and lockouts shall be deemed equivalent to a case of force majeure, unless they are of short duration. The right to make the aforementioned changes to the event shall not apply if Messe Friedrichshafen is responsible for the event on which the change is based.


Messe Friedrichshafen shall inform the exhibitor of such change measures immediately after the decision has been made, unless it is also prevented from doing so by one of the aforementioned circumstances. Claims for damages against MFN due to such modification measures are excluded, unless:

- the change is due to a grossly negligent or intentional breach of duty by MFN or its vicarious agents or
- the change is due to a breach of an essential contractual obligation by MFN or its vicarious agents, which makes the proper fulfillment of the contract possible in the first place and on whose compliance the exhibitor may regularly rely (this is, for example, the proper planning and preparation of the event, the timely and complete provision of information to the exhibitor, etc.).

Participation fee

In the event that a trade fair is postponed for one of the above-mentioned reasons, the following shall apply: Messe Friedrichshafen shall determine an alternative date no later than one month after the announcement of a postponement of an event. The exhibitor shall have the right to withdraw from the exhibitor contract within 14 days of receiving notification of the alternative date.

If a trade fair that has already begun is shortened, extended or closed temporarily, permanently, in individual parts or as a whole for one of the above-mentioned reasons, the payments to be made by the exhibitor in accordance with the exhibitor contract - the participation fee and any costs to be borne by the exhibitor - must be paid in full.


18. Worth knowing from A to Z

The team

Stand parties after the end of the fair must always be approved by the project management. Messe Friedrichshafen reserves the right to charge a fee for any additional security and cleaning required.

Dogs are allowed and welcome. You may bring your dogs to the trade fair. Please note the following:

  • Dogs must be vaccinated against rabies
  • Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times
  • Please remove your dog's business from our exhibition grounds, including the exhibition lake

There is one exception:

  • Dogs are not allowed in the evening show

  • Please remember to register music performances at your stand that are subject to GEMA fees in good time. You can find the registration form here.
  • It is the exhibitor's responsibility to ensure that the appropriate registration is made in good time and in full for music performances subject to GEMA fees during the event and that fees are paid.

Smoking is prohibited in all halls and stable tents.

Exhibitors are responsible for the proper and environmentally friendly disposal of waste generated during the construction, running time and dismantling of their stands.

You may place up to 80 liters (equivalent to a standard commercial waste bag) of sorted waste (paper, plastics, residual waste) in the hall aisle next to your stand every evening where it can be clearly seen by the cleaning company commissioned by Messe Friedrichshafen (included in the participation fee). For quantities in addition to this during set-up, the trade fair and dismantling, the disposal of sorted waste must be requested from the OSC.

  • WLAN is available everywhere on the exhibition grounds and is free of charge
