The AMERICANA
For decades, AMERICANA has captivated visitors with a unique European combination of top-class competition, spectacular shows, and a diverse trade fair. As Europe’s leading event for Western and leisure riding, it is far more than a horse show or exhibition: it is the central meeting place for the Western riding community and a venue where the Western way of life can be experienced up close.
A diverse supporting programme, exciting encounters, and an authentic Western atmosphere make AMERICANA a truly unique experience for horse enthusiasts, families, and Western fans from across Europe and beyond.
Top-class competitions!
For the competition participants, the AMERICANA begins already on Sunday, August 29, 2027, with the start of the competitions. They can compete for the coveted titles and prize money in around 50 disciplines.
Two warm-up areas offer the perfect conditions to prepare optimally for the shows. During AMERICANA, visitors can follow the competitions in the Zeppelin CAT Hall A1 throughout the day and cheer on the professionals.
The finals in the various disciplines will take place in the separate evening shows and will be accompanied by a varied show programme.

AMERICANA is unrivalled in its mix of top-class sport, trade fair and show to this day. Europe's largest trade fair for western and leisure riding offers everything to do with horses and the western way of life. Whether you're a horse owner, rider, or Western enthusiast - AMERICANA is the right place for you: saddles, bridles, bits, boots, hats and jeans, horse care products, as well as stable and pasture equipment, trailers, tractors and everything else you can imagine for and around (Western) horses.
The major horse associations as well as top trainers and ranches will also be there. Demonstrations on a wide variety of topics will take place in the three riding rings during the day. Whether horse health, horsemanship, breed presentations or riding styles - all areas of western riding and horse keeping are shown here.

Throughout the day, the exhibition grounds transform into a vibrant meeting place for horse lovers and Western enthusiasts. On the outdoor stage, live bands and musical performances provide entertainment, while line dancing demonstrations invite visitors to watch and join in. Those looking for a thrill can test their skills on the mechanical bull and experience a taste of the rodeo spirit. During meet & greets, well-known personalities from the Western riding and equestrian world share insights, sign autographs, and meet fans in person.
Even after the exhibition halls close, the unique AMERICANA atmosphere lives on. The Saloon becomes the central gathering place for riders, exhibitors, industry professionals, and visitors alike.
