Here we go: the countdown is on to Europe's No. 1 western event, AMERICANA 2025. Europe's largest trade fair for western and leisure riding will take place at the exhibition grounds in Friedrichshafen, Germany, from September 3 to 7, 2025. For the riders, it starts as early as August 31. The AMERICANA team is working flat out to plan the show and the supporting program. There will be an additional hall and the hall layout is also new. One thing is already certain: AMERICANA will once again celebrate the Western way of life, and Friedrichshafen will 'go Western' like never before. Exhibitors and participants in the forum and supporting program can now register their stand spaces online. The ticket store will also be launched shortly. This will enable visitors to secure the best seats for the coveted evening shows in good time. New this time: the earlier you book, the cheaper the tickets!
Unique mix of trade fair, top-class sport and entertainment
“The AMERICANA is the heart and lungs of western riding - without it, our sport wouldn't be where it is.” - this is how NRHA Million Dollar Rider Grischa Ludwig summed it up some time ago. And indeed, this event is still unique thanks to its mixture of trade fair, top-class sport and entertainment. Around 300 exhibitors from all over Europe regularly come to present their wares. Whatever you are looking for as a western rider or fan of the western lifestyle - you will find it at AMERICANA: Saddles and bridles, bits, boots, hats and jeans, supplies for horse care, barn and pasture, as well as trailers, tractors and all the necessities for (western) horses. Almost all the major associations and many top trainers and ranches regularly present themselves here. So if you are looking for information on a particular discipline and western horse breed or are looking for training opportunities or a horse, you will find a real El Dorado here.
Top Sport in about 50 Classes
In 2025, the eyes of the international western scene will once again be on AMERICANA. Over the five days of the show, there will be competitions for the Champion titles in around 50 classes and prize money of around 200,000 euros added. This event has achieved worldwide significance in particular through its Reining Bronze Trophy, the Cutting Championship and the Cowhorse classes. AMERICANA is also one of the highlights of the increasingly popular ranch horse classes. For years, the show has been one of the top 20 events in the world with its high-caliber and high-paying classes, and this will be no different in 2025.
Highlights: The Evening Shows
Sport and the trade fair are two of the three pillars that make AMERICANA unique. The third is Theo 'fun' factor. Even during the day, the forum with its attractions and special offers for kids ensure that a visit to AMERICANA is fun for the whole family. The traditional highlight for visitors will be the two big evening shows on Friday, September 5 and Saturday, September 6, which will not only feature the finals in the best reining, cutting and cowhorse classes with international stars, but also great show acts. As in previous years, additional top-class evening events will also be held on Wednesday (September 3) and Thursday (September 4).
